Jon graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 1996, where he played varsity basketball and varsity volleyball. Jon was named to the second-team all-league boys varsity All-Star volleyball team. Jon was also selected to the Finger Lakes Senior boys basketball All-Star team. Jon went on to play 1 year of Club volleyball at Syracuse University. 

 

After graduating from St John Fisher College Jon taught in North Carolina for 4 years before moving back to Canandaigua with his wife Jeanne. He is now a Social Studies teacher at Canandaigua Academy and very active in the community helping to run multiple sports programs for his sons, Mason and Carson.
